Well, maybe you know the feeling: You're standing in your kitchen in Basel in the morning, your first coffee isn't even finished yet, but your mind is already on the next quarterly meeting or still busy organizing the day for yourself and your family. As a CEO or senior manager, your daily life is a high-performance reactor. You juggle responsibilities, make quick decisions, and still want to have the energy after work for a top-notch workout or precious time with your loved ones or friends.
You function perfectly for others and the company, but your connection to your own body is like a poorly functioning Wi-Fi signal. You can feel that your "V8 engine" (your body) is running, but the constant pressure to be reachable and the high revving of your mind are perpetually in the red zone. And we know perfectly well that if our body keeps sending us signals, we'll simply ignore them for a very long time.
When constant high tension becomes the comfort zone
My observation is that in today's business world, "resilience" is often misunderstood as simply perseverance. However, my experience and years of expertise show that true performance doesn't arise from even more pressure. An overstimulated nervous system, caught in an endless treadmill of obligations, cannot make excellent decisions. When your shoulders are hunched up to your ears and your lower back protests with every step, it's not a sign of weakness, but a cry for a system update.
The truth is: One-sided solutions, like a massage or a one-day artem workshop, often fall short. Training for a few days and then stopping isn't enough for a supple body either. And those who only train without correcting their posture only perpetuate imbalances (which often only become apparent in the joints after some time). Those who only go for a massage without addressing their mindset are merely treating the symptom. Those who follow a diet without adjusting their lifestyle and daily habits won't see much long-term benefit.
360° support: Your key to success
Why is the combination of my approaches so exceptionally successful? Because it addresses you as a whole and supports you in breaking free from the monotonous spiral of stress.
Body therapy & posture: With spinal alignment and fascial work according to Human Garage and other methods, we bring your foundation back into balance. When the pelvis is aligned, pain has no place and the training of incorrect posture comes to an end.
Intelligent training: We use approaches like Foundation Training to strengthen and connect your back muscles, counteracting the effects of prolonged sitting. It's functional, simple, practical for everyday life, and highly effective.
Precise stress management: With Access Bars®, we press the delete button on the overloaded hard drive. The result is mental calm, improved reaction time, and faster regeneration (yes, I didn't believe it at first either, but now it makes more sense to me than ever).
Sample: The hip sliding exercise for a balanced pelvis
To experience firsthand how quickly you can release tension in your hips and simultaneously rebalance your entire system, try the hip sliding exercise. This exercise is a real treat if you notice in the morning that your hips have somehow become misaligned overnight, or if your lower back is craving space after a long day at the office. (Or simply to notice the difference, do this exercise every morning before getting out of bed for two weeks :)).
Here's how to bring your pelvis back into balance:
The easiest way to do this exercise is right after waking up, still in bed or on your yoga mat on the floor.
Slide your left heel and right hip diagonally as far apart as possible. Your hip will move towards your head and your heel towards the wall.
Once you have reached the maximum length, take a deep breath and enjoy the spaciousness in your body.
Then let yourself fall back into a "neutral" position and switch sides: Push your left hip towards your ears and your right heel powerfully away from you.
Repeat this sequence approximately 10 times per side, very slowly and deliberately.
Feel how the deep tensions in your core begin to release. It's as if you're recalibrating your internal stability program and simply pushing away the blockages of the night. This exercise immediately improves the mobility of your spine and helps you start the day pain-free and with a newfound ease. It's the perfect "mini-reset" for a powerful morning.
What do I want to achieve for you with this article?
My goal is to show you that true excellence requires ease. The combination of my methods is designed for people like you who don't make excuses, but want results. You'll regain valuable time because your body regenerates quickly and your focus remains pinpoint. Many high performers even tell me that they've become more creative, more responsive, and calmer, even in stressful situations.
Are you ready to take responsibility for your health and get your system back on track?
I look forward to working with you personally in a session – either in my practice in Basel or online worldwide. Let's explore together what opportunities we can create to enhance your performance.
